A multi-doctor clinic in Kolkata was losing patients to no-shows and phone-based booking confusion. We built a cross-platform mobile app for appointment booking, SMS reminders, and a staff dashboard.
The clinic relied on phone bookings, which led to double-bookings, missed appointments, and long wait times. We delivered a React Native mobile app that lets patients book slots, receive SMS reminders, and manage their appointments. A web-based dashboard lets clinic staff manage doctors, slots, and patient queues.
A patient opens the app, selects a doctor, picks an available slot, and receives an SMS reminder. On arrival, the staff checks them in through the dashboard and updates the queue in real time.
We shadowed the reception team for two days to understand the booking pain points, then designed a patient app and staff dashboard around real workflows. SMS reminders and a real-time queue were built to cut no-shows and front-desk calls.
No-shows dropped dramatically and our front desk is no longer glued to the phone. The app just fits how we work.
The clinic now runs a modern appointment system that reduced no-shows and freed the front desk from constant phone calls. Patients book in seconds and staff always know who's next.
